WELCOME!
Every great concert is more than just music, it’s an experience. The lights, sound, and visuals all work together to bring the performance to life. That’s where the tech team comes in. They make sure every microphone works, every spotlight is in the right place, and every effect happens at the right moment. Without them, the audience wouldn’t hear the singers, see the band, or feel the excitement in the room.
Being on the tech team means you’re not just helping, you’re making the entire concert possible. Your role is just as important as the performers on stage, and it comes with a lot of responsibility! This is an incredible opportunity to learn how a concert operates behind the scenes!
Below is a list of the available positions on the tech team.
Don’t worry if all of this feels new, nobody expects you to know everything right away. Just like learning an instrument, you’ll pick it up step by step.
The important thing is showing up, paying attention, and working together. Every role on the tech team matters, and the concert simply couldn’t happen without you. You are an essential part of bringing the music to life!

The stage managers are in charge of a few very important tasks. Those tasks are, but not limited to:
Making sure the correct musician is on their instrument for their song
Making sure each musician is prepared for their time to be on stage
Do they have their In Ear Monitors ready to go?
Do they know if they are starting the song?
Making sure song transitions happen quickly
Managing stage crew to make sure these tasks happen in the most efficient way possible
This can be a stressful job, so it is important that you have a game plan ready and are ready to be a problem solver.
Don't worry if you happen to make a mistake, your music teachers will also be helping with this job to make sure the concert is successful. You got this!
